I’m still on vacation, but Lingyai requested that I post the trailer above for 21 and Over. It looks like a fun movie, and it looks like an Asian dude is the focus of the whole movie–although it also looks like he’s not one of the two protagonists. The character’s name is Jeff Chang, and he’s played by Justin Chon. They should’ve cast John Chang to play Jeff Chang. If anyone has seen the movie or has comments on the movie, fire off like a WOWO.
This movie looks lame as lame can be. Rent and don’t go see it.
So this isn’t the comment generator I thought it would be.
80% of movie previews make me groan and not make me want to watch the movie. For example like this crap: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/olympus-has-fallen/#vlbox
(not even going into the Asian threat thing, a movie with lots of big names but just looks aweful, Morgan Freeman what were you thinking?)
I must say I want to see this movie, admittedly not in the theater but netflix maybe. It looks better than most movie of its type.
I blame Siegfried.
Didn’t see this but may now since I read some stuff about it being a positive portrayal. Though this movie may suck, it’s something we Asians should stand by if we want to see better portrayals.
In the end, nobody went to watch this and the loudest complainers are the ones who sit at home w their hands in their pockets but going to watch in droves mainstream stuff like “The Hangover” with a negative portrayal.
