In the video above, two young Asian American art prodigies are killing it. The art is probably a bit too esoteric for me, but I applaud the effort and success. (Thanks, to JSS for the vid.)

No no… this can’t be right… Everyone knows that Asian aren’t creative! They’re just good at math and stuff.
Well…shoot. As someone that wants to eventually go to art school…. I just feel really inadequate now lol
I know you’re trying to post and repost your comment, Chr. But it’s not really a good comment to leave, which is why I’ve been deleting. Yes, it’s relevant, but it’s just not constructive.
Here, I’ll give you some of my reasoning. Before you post, think about whether your comment is more of the same or whether it changes things for the better. Imagine a young person you care about is reading. Hope that helps.
“Imagine a young person you care about is reading. Hope that helps”.
As an Asian father, you should at least make aware to Asian youths, especially to the guys, that the real word is not all rose tinted glasses. I think most Asian parents are oblivious to the fact that there is an Asian gender divide because of this.
Haha. Uh, yeah. I’m totally OBLIVIOUS to the gender divide.
“Haha. Uh, yeah. I’m totally OBLIVIOUS to the gender divide”.
But how many Asian parents actually have a discussion with their kids about this topic and the problem it poses? I gather a very few actually have a talk about this touchy topic.
Dude,
Look at the title of this post. Then watch the video. Then tell me: how does your posts about the gender disparity have anything to do with the original content?
Don’t answer it here. Just think about it in your head. Then please, try to take my advice, and post something positive.
LOL! I couldn’t help but read bigwowo telling resident pariah Chr off on these boards. That’s rich, Chr, a guy who has never even been on a date (not just going out as friends but a romantic date) is giving advise about a happily married father on what he should or shouldn’t be aware of regarding Asian youths.
That’s like a person who can’t even boil water telling a gourmet chef how to cook.
And Bigwowo. I really doubt Chair can be up to your challenge.

Featured a guy that was banned and also included posts from Chr beforehe went batshit crazy and was just a harmless stealth marketer for PUA gurus.
I guess that will do that to you when you are obsessed with white girls.
bigwowo, I don’t speak for everyone but this guy has turned me off from posting on any subject boards. He pollutes this blog with repeating the same thing over and over and over again not adding anything constructive to it. I really think he should be banned unless he does what you suggested. Then again, asking someone like that to be positive is like asking a cat to bark.
Also, I want to say anytime I see an applicant’s resume for a job with the school Columbia University on it, I will have a closer look at the resume. This guy makes sweeping generalizations about everything and everybody forcing me to question what the hell do they teach you in that institution.
I agree, Moro. Chr needs to break his old habits and step it up. I also think it’s discouraging people here from putting their energy to better uses.
Bigowow, he won’t step it up. The only thing he knows is Negative. I kind of can guess what you deleted from Chair. But, you know posting anything with a picture of an Asian girl, you’re asking for it him posting something about interracial disparity or whatever. It’s his knee jerk reaction created by his inability to score with the white girls he lusts after. ( I mean, the guy learned Greek thinking he’d score with at least one Greek girl but too many slaps in his ugly face without one romantic date gave him a dose of reality) (how is this any different from White Guys learning an Asian language to chase the women?)
But it’s good you are deleting his posts. What if there were unhappy younger, impressionable Asian guys who stumble onto this blog (who haven’t seen how the world ) who are taking his garbage seriously. For Chair, his only solution for Asian men is pretty much to put a bullet into your brain. To him, Asian people aren’t any better than the rats in the sewers. The men for being unattractive and hated by all. The women for dating white guys. What a loser!
I meant, For Chair, his only solution for Asian men is pretty much to put a bullet into THEIR brain. Sorry. Late and sleepy.

Byron, if you would allow me to respond and sidetrack this board just for a bit.
It never ceases to amaze me that none of you guys here have acknowledged the fact that perceived physical attractiveness and race effects our lives more than we think, especially in a racialized country such as ours with a shallow culture. Just about every topic (both former and current) addressed on this blog can be attributed to a race/gender issue and most importantly, a physical attractiveness one.
As a guy, you would be putting a bullet in your head when society views you as an unwanted specimen, including female members of your own community, which of course is mostly attributed to physical attractiveness.
I’m sure all of you have heard of Winston Wu. You guys hate him and so does the Asian PUA community. We hate him because of his misogyny towards all American women and the PUAs hate him because he says the things along my lines, such as American White women don’t find us Asian men physically attractive and also a growing number Asian American women as well.
Chr wrote: ” Just about every topic (both former and current) addressed on this blog can be attributed to a race/gender issue and most importantly, a physical attractiveness one. ”
But that’s the problem, Chr–you’re wrong. You see problems where they don’t exist. For example, look once again at the topic of this blog post. Two little girls who are artists and who make art and sell art. What does this have to do with Asian American men and physical attractiveness?
Answer: Absolutely nothing.
Now please move on. You’re beginning to remind me of the guy who goes to dinner parties and tells everyone he has herpes and how pus drips out of his cold sores. Then he starts talking about how everyone has herpes and that herpes causes social problems. We’re getting tired of your herpes talk.
Chr sure has a lot of his time on his hands to talk about the same things again and again and again. Even the posters who we didn’t like very much, Fun, etc. have eventually disappeared. I’ve been only reading this blog for over a year or so but I don’t recall the last time someone got so many posts deleted and requests by the moderator for posting things based on subject matter falling on deaf ears.
It’s hard to talk to anyone who sees only what they want to see. Hear only what they want to hear. Can you imagine meeting Chr or talking to him in person? He seriously wonders why white people hate him. As Raguel said, this clown should be banned. No one wants to debate with a guy who has no debating skills.
Here’s how you talk about subjects.
I’ve always been fascinated by any type of prodigies. How do these young kids get the ability to exceed like this? I think part of it can be attributed to upbringing. Kind of refreshing to see Asians getting into a different type of art instead of just playing classical music.
