Check out the video above, sent to me by my father-in-law. Adora Svitak is a child literary prodigy–she’s already published multiple books and is very well spoken for a 12 year old. She’s half Chinese and half White: her mom is a Chinese translator, and her dad works at Microsoft in Seattle. If you check out this CNN interview from three years ago, she’s big in China, where her book was translated. Pretty amazing.
