Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope you are all having a great time with family.
I don’t know about you, but back in the day before everyone moved away, Thanksgiving was THE family event. This was the time when my Yeh Yeh cooked up large amounts of food while the rest of us lazily sat around watching football. It was always great to come back home to see how the family was doing and how everyone had changed. For some reason, I’m reminded of the Godfather movies where the family gets together around the dinner table and acts like a family. Aiya.
Personal update: I’m not watching football right now, but I just sent my personal submission for the Thymos Book Project. And how fitting–my submission is about family. Now that I’m ahead of the game, I can lead like a WOWO and encourage others to do the same.
Are you all getting ready for Black Friday? I have a feeling that retail sales numbers are going to be up this year. I don’t know why, but I have a feeling people have just been holding back too long. Hopefully this will result in a better economy for 2010.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Just noticed this post. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
While today may be black Friday, it’s going to be a bear market on Wall Street instead because of Dubai debt troubles:

Happy Thanksgiving, Simon!
When do they release numbers for the weekend retail sales? Next week? If so, maybe I should buy stock on Monday. (Don’t listen to me. I’ve never had much success in the market.)
Happy Thanksgiving. I appreciate you looking after me, always. Take care of your family.
lol, Monday isn’t a good idea. When everyone returns from the holidays, it’s going to be dump like a dump truck time on the stock market. Part of the ripple effect from Friday’s woes.
