I’m too poor to afford TLC on cable, and I don’t watch the show, but what I find most interesting is that nearly everyone I’ve spoken with about this show supports Jon. It’s interesting to see this kind of support given the fact that Jon would break up a very large family by leaving. According to people who have seen the show, Kate often berates Jon, yells at him, and throws fits in public. Combined with Jon’s “hotness” factor, it seems that Jon has developed a very strong following. As one of the interviewees in the video says, “I think of the two of them, he’s the one with the options right now.” Even though Kate is the one who has written the bestselling book, it seems that Jon has the support of the public.
