Library usage up. At least something good is coming from this horrible economy. Will this create the educational revolution that we’ve all been hoping for since W brought his proud ignorance into the White House eight years ago? Could it help usher in the era of Asian American Lit that we’ve been awaiting for the last 35 years?

I don’t know if inventiveness will increase, but perhaps reading will. Libraries are great for new books, old books, and even music and movies. Perhaps awareness will increase?
That’s what I’m hoping too!
