Sources say that Obama is going to nominate former Washington governor Gary Locke as Commerce Secretary. See the news story here. As you political junkies know, Richardson left because of a federal investigation, and Republican Judd Gregg left over the stimulus bill and other “irresolvable” differences. Hopefully this nomination will stand.
