Jason,

Thanks for the recs! I was actually hoping to interview APANO and hadn't thought of the other two, so thanks for suggesting them! They're defintely on my to-do list.

Claire and PCC were actually a sponsor for the Frank Chin event! She too knows the two local young leaders that you and I discussed.

You definitely should get in touch with nskripchun from the 44s. He's a teacher, and he's into hip-hop. I'll send out that e-mail right now to introduce you two!

Haha, I thought I'd just throw these out
Maybe you'll be pro-active this way. Har Har. (Not to say that you're not..but anyways..)

APA Compass (of course)

PACCO-Kabataan

You can always try to get in touch with the PSU or UP student groups see if they're doing anything good.

Claire Oliveros (I think she's in APA Compass too)
Also the Keynote at the 2008 NWFASAlliance Conference at Gonzaga University.
She's got plenty of other credits too.

You can explore some of the hip-hop scene, if you may, as there are a few local artists there involved with Social Justice.

Wow, I should be able to think of a few more...but I guess not.
