"I'll try to find some and I'll bring 'em to ya."

I saw this absolutely hilarious video on Reappropriate.com:

I don’t know if they pulled actual quotes, but it’s eerily similar to the real life interview that took place between Couric and Palin. See it here:

You can see the full story here.

There is youtube version here (see the last couple of minutes):

Sure, the polls show that Palin’s popularity is declining, but I’m surprised her popularity isn’t tanking. She is absolutely unfit to be president, especially given her total ignorance of John McCain’s history of supporting deregulation (which he didn’t deny during his first debate with Obama.) The last line–”I’ll try to find some and I’ll bring ‘em to ya”–is flat out scary. Here we are in the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, and this woman, who is running for the Vice Presidency of the United States of America, doesn’t even know what is going on.  I sure hope voters wake up to the seriousness of this election.

  1. Yeah, man – these are hilarious! I can’t wait for the debate on Thursday. Allison and I are thinking that we’ll make some popcorn and gear up for some good laughs… =).

Haha…yes, I read about these interviews before, but I had no idea how funny they were until I actually saw them! I guess Palin has the misfortune to be running in the age of youtube. I thought that Biden might run into the problem of looking condescending, but when you see interviews like these, it’s a bit hard to have sympathy for her…
