My name is Byron Wong (aka jaehwan from the Fighting 44s), and I am an Asian American activist in the Portland, OR area. I am a blogger/admin on the Fighting 44s, and I am the father of a 2 year old baby boy. This site was started on September 23, 2008, and over the next few months, I’m hoping to learn a thing or two about web design so that I can bring you some good content. I hope that activists of all stripes and persuasions will join me here–my only caveat is that I’m aiming to engage with live activists rather than armchair activists who hide behind the web, though of course, everyone is welcome to participate. In other words, this blog is aimed mostly at people of action, though it’s open to all, both for reading and commentary.
